BUSINESSBusiness, a class I would have never thought I would take up until my second semester of eleventh grade. Unlike most of my classmates, my interest did not focus around a business world where analyzing hypothetical business cases measured my understanding of the course. Nevertheless, I began the IB by taking history as my third optional class. As the year progresses, my interests began to change and the importance of having a business background in order to succeed as a future animal biology undergrad student with future plans of even opening my own vet became crucial to me. Moreover, during the summer I studied the material that the IB business class had learned through out the semester, took an exam, passed it, and joined the IB business class at Colegio Roosevelt! Looking back, this decision has made a huge impact to me since I am able to understand how the world of economics work through a fun and enriching environment such as Mr. Nelsons class.
